WORLD GRAIN AND PULSES INDUSTRY GOT TOGETHER IN İDMA
İDMA – International Flour, Semolina, Rice, Corn, Bulgur, Feed Milling Machinery and Pulses, Pasta, Biscuit Technologies Exhibition which is organized for the fifth time this year, between April 04-07, 2013 in Istanbul Expo Center once again proved that it is the biggest meeting platform of the world grain and pulses processing industry.
International Flour, Semolina, Rice, Corn, Bulgur, Feed Milling Machinery and Pulses, Pasta, Biscuit Technologies Exhibition İDMA as proving itself as the biggest meeting platform of the World grain and pulses processing industry in 2013, was conducted successfully in Istanbul Expo Center between April 04-07, 2013.
For 4 days, 8052 local and foreign professionals from 94 different countries visited İDMA 2013 Exhibition which was organized by Parantez International Fair Organization and which hosted 236 local and foreign firms who opened stands and exhibited their latest technologies. The local and foreign professional visitors consisting of flour, semolina, rice and corn millers, and pasta, biscuit and feed producers, who chose İDMA to direct their investments and make their technology choices, had the chance to see and recognize the latest technologies of the exhibitor firms.
“WORLD’S BIGGEST MEETING PLATFORM”
Deputy General Manager of Turkish Grain Board Mr.Uğur ERKAYMAZ, Director of Turkey Flour Industrialists Federation Mr.Erhan ÖZMEN, President of Rice Millers Association Mr.Turgay YETİŞ, Chief Advisor of Georgian Ministry of Agriculture Mr.Omar KACHARAVA, President of Palestine Flour Millers Association Mr.Nazih NASSER, President of Sudan Flour and Feed Millers Association Mr.Elissir EİSSA, President of Libya Flour Millers Association Mr.Nour Eddin Mohammed EROKİAİ, President of Iran Miller Federation Mr.Sayed Mohammad REZA MORTAZAVİ, President of Argentina Flour Millers Association Mr.Reynaldo HEREDİA and President of Pakistan Flour Millers Association Mr.Ahmad Asim RAZA joined the exhibition’s opening ceremony that was conducted on Thursday, April 4th. Mr.Mehmet KAVRAZ, General Manager of Parantez International Fair Organization, who talked on the opening ceremony of the exhibition, stressed that the İDMA Exhibition which is held every 2 years has grown three times in 8 years. Reminding that the first İDMA Exhibition was conducted with 66 participating firms, KAVRAZ continued his words as follows: “The İDMA that has grown three times in the 8-year period that we left behind, today has succeeded to be the most important meeting platform of the World grain and pulses processing industry with its 236 participating firms and thousands of visitors coming from 120 countries of the World.”
General Manager Mr.KAVRAZ, quoted the following in the continuation of his speech: “İDMA Exhibition, has also been expanded in terms of content, as well as the increase in the number of exhibitors and visitors, and has come to encompass not only the milling industry but also pasta and biscuit industries in a wider frame.
I would like to indicate that we will continue to work with all our strength in the future as we have done since the first day until now to strengthen position of İDMA Exhibition which shapes world trade in flour, semolina, rice, bulgur, pasta, biscuit and pulses industries; and sincerely thank you on behalf of my team and myself for your attendance and support.”
THE HEART OF THE MILLING INDUSTRY BEATED IN ISTANBUL ONCE AGAIN
The İDMA Exhibition, built on 3 showrooms of 21 thousand square meters, has offered special opportunities to all sector representatives from exhibitors to visitors. The exhibitors who opened stands and exhibited the latest innovations on the technologies they developed, had the opportunity to get together with thousands of professional visitors coming from 94 countries of the world, and to increase their shares in the global market with the new cooperations they established.
As for the professional visitors consisting of flour, semolina, rice, corn millers and investors, pasta, biscuit and feed producers across the world, shaped their investments by having the opportunity to see and recognize the latest technologies developed by the sector’s leading brands.
“CERTIFIED MILLING TRAINING” IN THE EXHIBITION
Within the scope of İDMA 2013 Fair, a 14-hour “Certified Milling Training Program” was organized between April 05-06, intended for the milling industry representatives who would visit the exhibition.
In the trainings that were given by the expert names of the sector; “Raw Material Supply in Milling”, “Raw Material Storage”, “Milling Technology and Grinding”, “Yield in Milling”, “Energy Saving in Milling”, “Quality in Flour, Quality Control and Flour Additives” and “Flour Factory Investment, Investment Feasibility and Management” topics were dealt with where more than 150 participants attended.
For 4 days, 8052 local and foreign professionals from 94 different countries visited İDMA 2013 Exhibition.
RICE, PULSES, BULGUR AND PASTA WERE ALSO DISCUSSED
IWithin the scope of İDMA 2013 Fair which aims to meet the needs of all parties of grain and pulses industry with the events it includes; 4 different seminars were organized for rice, pulses, bulgur and pasta groups. In the seminars where many topics from product supply to trading, from processing technologies to investment and production costs; representatives of the firms that are experts in their fields and managers of sector’s leading non-governmental organizations made various presentations.
The 5th International Flour, Semolina, Rice, Corn, Bulgur, Feed Milling Machinery & Pulse, Pasta, Biscuit, Technologies Exhibition IDMA, the biggest meeting point of the world’s grain and pulses processing sector, was successfully held in Istanbul Fair Center on April 04-07, 2013.
